Every Paragon Kitchens project begins with a vision: to create a space that blends style with function and reflects how people imagine they want to live. Some people favour bold statements; others focus on subtle refinements. All value Paragon’s ability to transform kitchens into places of beauty, flow, and comfort. The following pages highlight three recent Paragon projects, each of which demonstrates craftsmanship in every detail: a modern entertainer’s dream, a comfortable family hub, and a minimalist haven. Each balances practicality with polish and demonstrates that a Paragon kitchen conveys more than design. It gives expression to what lies at the heart of the home.
AN ENTERTAINER’S DREAM IN GUELPH’S EXHIBITION PARK
When Jaime and Jason set out to reimagine the kitchen of their historic Exhibition Park home in Guelph, they envisioned a space that would blend modern elegance with everyday ease. And so they turned to Guelph’s Rammik Renovations and Paragon Kitchens to execute a vision that combines a luminous open-concept kitchen space with discreet laundry addition.

Highlights abound: a professional-grade gas range with sculptural pot filler, light-catching backsplash tiles, handcrafted concrete farmhouse sink, hidden refrigerator, and dedicated beer chiller for entertaining. At the centre of it all, a waterfall island in ultra-durable Dekton material serves as both showpiece and gathering place. A retractable glass wall floods the space with natural light, while the adjoining laundry nook extends the same refined design language.
The result is a home that feels both sophisticated and deeply livable.
The Highlight Reel:
- Cupboards and drawers in Paragon’s signature Fenix material, finished in a warm grey-green, set a contemporary tone that beautifully complements this older home.
- Ash-grey metal handles and fixtures paired with concrete finishes, including a heated concrete floor, lend a warm industrial edge, while rounded contours and traditional forms soften the look.
- A larger waterfall island in ultra-durable Dekton material serves as a showpiece and social hub for entertaining.
- Floating shelves create space to showcase treasured items, while hardworking cupboards, drawers, and tall pantries keep everyday essentials neatly out of sight.
- An adjacent laundry room in warm wood tones mirrors the kitchen island cabinetry, creating visual continuity between the two spaces.
A COMFORTABLE FAMILY HUB IN ELORA’S SOUTH RIVER COMMUNITY
When Sandra and Jason settled into their new build in the sought-after South River Elora neighbourhood, they imagined a kitchen that could double as both architectural statement and generous family and social hub. For Sandra the kitchen is the heart of the home โ a place where morning light spills across countertops, weeknight dinners turn into laughter-filled gatherings, and friends and neighbours feel welcome to drop by. To bring this vision to life, the couple partnered with Guelph’s Paragon Kitchens.

The result is an open-concept plan alive with contrast and character that’s defined by a striking black-and-white palette, meticulous detailing, and elevated finishes. At its centre, a sculptural island in Cambria engineered quartz โ equally suited to casual breakfasts or wine-and-charcuterie evenings โ gleams like a work of art. A sleek bar area just beyond the kitchen keeps guests refreshed without interrupting the cook. Custom pantries conceal the everyday, leaving the area crisp and composed, while a spacious dining area invites lingering conversations. Beyond the kitchen, Paragon’s plan extends the same thoughtful design into a bright mudroom and polished office, creating a seamless flow from one space to the next.
The effect is modern elegance: a home that feels both expansive and intimate, where clean lines meet comfort and every detail is tuned to both the quotidian rhythms of family life and the joy of entertaining.
The Highlight Reel:
- A large kitchen island in Cambria ‘Inverness Platinum’ quartz anchors the space as both focal point and social hub.
- A spacious mudroom off the kitchen provides ample storage and everyday functionality for a busy family.
- A side bar area allows guests easy access to drinks without interrupting the cook.
- Fenix ‘Black Satin’ cabinetry delivers a super-matte, fingerprint-resistant, and highly durable finish โ ideal for hardworking kitchens.
- The office pairs navy blue cabinetry with slim shaker details, a marble-look engineered desktop, and gold hardware accents for warmth and elegance.
A MINIMALIST HAVEN IN GUELPH’S SOUTH END
When Kailey and Mike set out to reimagine the kitchen of their south-end Guelph home, they had two clear priorities: create a space that could stand up to life with their energetic young boys and capture the calm simplicity of a minimalist aesthetic. They envisioned a kitchen that was resilient yet refined, warm in tone while sleek in design. They dreamt of a space where family life could unfold effortlessly in an unencumbered setting. Guelph’s Paragon Kitchens delivered all they were looking for, in abundance.

At the heart of Paragon’s plan is a generous central island, designed for everything from weekday breakfasts to after-school crafts. The space around the island is generous enough for everyone to navigate with ease. Hidden large appliances and an appliance garage keep the look clean and composed, with built-in panelled pieces blending seamlessly into the adjacent cabinetry. The palette is defined by earthy richness and features Fenix surfaces in deep taupe and black that offer both sophistication and durability. Cambria engineered quartz wraps the countertops, backsplash, and window surround in a continuous sweep of stone, unifying the design with texture and depth. An engineered wood hood with a UV-cured finish that resists wear and scratches is complemented by a niched-in appliance wall that cleverly carves out extra room, maximizing functionality without compromise.
The result is a kitchen that balances beauty with everyday practicality: a modern retreat rooted in natural tones and thoughtful detailing where durability meets elevated design and family life can be productive, serene, and elegant.
The Highlight Reel:
- Fingerprint-resistant Fenix cabinetry with a durable finish in rich and soothing taupe and black tones.
- Convenient appliance garage keeps small appliances out of sight when not in use.
- Drawer plate holders make placing dishes in and out of cabinetry effortless.
- Recessed appliance wall saves space while keeping fridge and freezer discreetly tucked away.
- Luxury Cambria quartz in ‘Everleigh’ for the countertops, backsplash, and window frames provides a clean, seamless aesthetic.
