WHAT CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT KEEPING THE BOOKS? We’re located in downtown Cambridge – with new locations coming soon across the region. We offer bookkeeping, payroll, and tax filing services – as well as financial valuation services for advisory help and growth. We strive to build long-term professional relationships by offering great customer service and building trust.
WHO ARE YOUR IDEAL CLIENTS?We mainly focus on service businesses – from sole proprietorships to small- to mid-sized incorporated companies. A one-stop shop in accounting, we offer start-to-finish services in-house. And we’re flexible – meeting clients where they’re at and working with them based on their current needs.
WHY IS HELPING MANAGE AND ORGANIZE BUSINESSES’ MONEY IMPORTANT TO YOU?If you don’t know your numbers, you don’t know your business. Many businesses simply don’t have the knowledge they need to effectively and efficiently handle their finances. It’s our passion to help our clients understand where their money is going, to offer strategic advice so they can take their business to the next level, and to provide peace of mind.
WHAT’S YOUR ADVICE FOR BUSINESSES WHO ARE DEBATING WORKING WITH A BOOKKEEPER?Do your research. Get a reputable referral. And choose a certified bookkeeper, as they are bound by regulations. While many businesses feel that they can’t afford a bookkeeper, I would suggest that businesses can’t afford not to hire one.
WHAT ARE YOU UP TO WHEN YOU’RE NOT TAKING CARE OF BUSINESSES?I love getting outside with my husband, our five-year-old, and our boxer Roxy. We’re avid travellers but spend most of our vacation time in New Brunswick where we’re building our retirement home.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE REGIONAL RESTAURANTS FOR BUSINESS MEETINGS AND AFTER-WORK PLEASURE?Some of my favourites include Thirteen Food & Beverage, 1909 Culinary Academy, and The Ridge Social Eatery. I love taste testing the amazing local options we have.
